Question by Michael F: Wedding invitation?
I alone was invited to a wedding from friends I havent seen in over a year. I've been dating a lady for the past 9 months and want to know if its acceptable to bring her as my date even though her name is not on the invitation? I dont want to ask the party because how could they say no and not offend me. Basically is it acceptable to bring a date to a wedding invitation?

Answer by erik bIf the invitation only says your name, then unfortunately no, you shouldn't ask her. If the invitation said 'Youur Name & Guest' then yes, that would be acceptable.
